LPA District 7 Spring Regional 2014 Overland Park, Kansas Double Tree Hotel March 28 - 30, 2014 LPA District 7 invites you to the 2014 spring regional in Overland Park, Kansas. Overland Park is a Kansas City suburb filled with a lot of neat things to see. We have a great event planned and hope you can make it! We have a great hotel booked at a great room rate. Officers Meeting
If you are a District or Chapter officer, we would like you to attend our officer’s meeting Friday night to catch up on the District and Chapter status before Saturday’s business meeting.
Business Meeting
This meeting is available to all members who would like to stay updated on the current happenings of the district and their local chapters.
Children's room
An adult supervised room for your children to enjoy while you attend the business meeting and enjoy our presenters. There will even be a surprise for the children in attendance. Find out more when you check in.

Greg Zimmerman, A District 7 member and father of an LP child, will present on some of the home-made accommodations he has done around the house.
Saturday Lunch
Saturday Lunch is on your own. You can eat in the nice restaurant located in the hotel or you can venture out on your own to explore the places nearby. The Nerman Museum has a cafe on site.
Saturday Activity
Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art
The 41,000 square foot Nerman Museum, the largest contemporary art museum in the four state region, hosts sixteen temporary exhibitions annually and showcases the Museum’s Oppenheimer Collection. The group dinner will be at local restaurant. The location will be decided and announced soon.
Dance
Do you enjoy dancing? If you said yes to this question, there are dozens of other members you can join for a night of fun. If you said no, that’s alright. You can enjoy the social atmosphere and be entertained by the cute kids, breakdancing teens, and the goofy adults.
The music is going to be DJ’d by Larry Gawatz and Mike Cook.
Silent Auction
A selection of great items will be available for you to silently bid on. If you’re the highest bidder by the end of the night, you can get that item for what you bid for. This is a great way to score some great items at a good price. This has been very popular in the past and can get pretty competitive.
Basket Raffles
We have a few great basket raffles put together. $1 a ticket or 6 tickets for $5.
50/50 raffle
Buy a raffle ticket for $1 or 6 for $5 to win 50% of the end jackpot. The other 50% is donated to back to the chapter.
